As our banks come in different sizes

We can assess which bank is best suited for the authorised site.

What We Do

Our Recycling banks are serviced weekly by our logistical team.

The textiles we receive are reused or recycled wherever possible. A percentage of the funds generated from the sale of the donations goes straight towards Balls To Cancer and other charities we support.

As our banks come in different sizes, we can assess which bank is best suited for the authorised site.

Do Something Amazing

By donating your unwanted clothes, you are not only helping to reduce the impact on overflowing landfills but also helping Balls To Cancer work on their funding for # SuperHeroChemo Boxes for children fighting cancer with chemotherapy. These boxes encase the very visible intravenous bag and help the children cope with the stress of chemotherapy by giving it to them as Superhero power liquid! They will be offering these boxes to children cancer units nationwide FREE OF CHARGE starting with Birmingham Children’s Hospital and hope to spread it to every Cancer Unit.

This has been a fantastic aid in the recovery and treatment of children going through an already difficult time. We need your help to get these to hospitals urgently.

Our Mission

Green Global Recycling tackles the negative social and environmental impacts of producing, consuming and wasting clothes by:

  • Increasing our use of second-hand clothes
  • Providing people with reuse services to stop wearable clothes being thrown into the waste stream or left unused
  • Putting wearable clothes back into use in charity shops
  • Running education programmes and campaigns to raise awareness of the socio-environmental impacts of clothes and to persuade and inspire people, businesses and policy makers to take action to keep clothes in use for longer. This includes wearing more second-hand rather than new, passing on unworn clothes for someone else to use, buying less, buying better quality, caring for and repairing clothes
  • Funding, supporting and promoting local environmental projects to establish more sustainable production for our clothes

This work, in close collaboration with our UK and global partners, is striving to:

  • Reduce consumption
  • Reduce the overuse of increasingly scarce natural resources
  • Reduce waste and carbon emissions
  • Extend the life cycle of wearable clothes
  • Source clothes in more socially beneficial ways
